This paper mainly deals with the intense change of hydrodynamics and corresponding sediment accumulation in the modern coast of Zhoushan during Typhoons 8114 and 8310, and discusses the sedimentary characteristics of storm-sand and gravel beaches. These may provide evidences for finding and interpreting similar ancient sedimentary deposits.

本文以舟山现代滨岸为例,重点阐述了在8114号和8310号两次强台风作用期间,水动力发生的剧烈变化以及对应的沉积物堆积情况。进而从沉积物粒度变化、沉积构造组合、生物特征和沉积物垂向层序诸方面,探讨了滨岸风暴沙滩的沉积特征,并指出它与浅海风暴沉积的区别。总结了风暴砾滩的沉积特征,并指出绝大多数滨岸砾滩是风暴作用的结果。研究现代风暴沉积目的是为了找到更多的古代风暴沉积,文后介绍了已找到的古代风暴沉积的实例。

In 1983, Typhoon No. 8311 (Georgia) passed a current measure ment station in northern South China Sea and ocean current data at four levels were thus obtained. The structure of ocean current and its response to typhoon were investigated and the results show an extremely strong forcing effect of typhoon on ocean current and made it clockwisely rotate with the average speed twice more than that under normal wind conditions. 1983年8311号台风(Georgia)穿越南海北部某测流站,从而获得了四个层次的台风下实测海流资料.本文利用这次资料,试对台风下的海流概况以及海流对台风作用的响应等问题作了初步分析,结果表明:台风对海流的强迫作用是十分强烈的;它使各层海流依顺时针方向作旋转运动,其平均流速值比常风下海流的约大2倍;最大流速滞后于最大风速6—8个小时;在台风中心经过后3—4天强流才消失.
