This paper describes a new method for the structural analysis of impervious concrete diaphragms cast in sand and gravel foundations beneath earth dams. The soil pressure acting on the diaphragm is calculated by considering the interaction between the diaphragm and the foundation. The necessary equations of displacements in the foundation with limited depth produced by the loading of an earth dam and by the horizontal force acting at the interior of the foundation are derived and the deformation equations of...

This paper describes a new method for the structural analysis of impervious concrete diaphragms cast in sand and gravel foundations beneath earth dams. The soil pressure acting on the diaphragm is calculated by considering the interaction between the diaphragm and the foundation. The necessary equations of displacements in the foundation with limited depth produced by the loading of an earth dam and by the horizontal force acting at the interior of the foundation are derived and the deformation equations of the diaphragm under the action of external loads are also established. Then, by the compatibility condition of displacements, four sets of linear algebraic equations all expressed in terms of soil pressure are developed with charts provided for the determination of the numerical values of constant terms in these equations. The results of a worked example which compares the present method of analysis with the existing one indicate that the latter in assuming a known distribution of soil pressure would give a solution of considerably large error, and it should not be applied in practice.

Since the seventies, NATM has been widely used in many countries because it has the advantage of using site measurements as a feedback to guide designs and constructions. For the design of an underground engineering, ths stress and displacement field of the surrounding rock are among the main problems to be solved first. They are usually determined by site tests, which are not only time-consuming and costly, but also unable to provide ideal results. Since the seventies, NATM has been widely used in many countries because it has the advantage of using site measurements as a feedback to guide designs and constructions. In the eighties, many methods of displacement back analysis which require only a few measured data in the stability analysis of an opening have been developed on this basis, and satisfactory results have been achieved. By using the basic principle of Muskhelishvili's complex function method for plane elastic problems and the statistical method, this paper makes a back analysis of measured displacements of a non-circular underground opening, and gives a series of formulas for the stress and displacement field accordingly. The mapping function can be conveniently determined by approaching calculation with a computer. Finally the application procedure is also presented. The practical calculation of an engineering project shows that maximum difference between the calculated and measured displacement is 11.67×10~(-3)cm, 7.69% of the maximum displacement measured. Therefore, the method proposed in the paper is of practical value for rock engineering practice.

围岩的应力场和位移场是地下工程设计首先必须解决的主要问题之一。一般通过现场试验来测定,不但费工费时,而且往往很难得到理想效果。七十年代以后,新奥法之所以先进,为许多国家所接受,在于利用现场监测进行反馈,指导设计施工;八十年代又在此基础提出了多种位移反分析的方法,用少数的实测数据分析洞室稳定,获得较为满意的结果。本文采用穆斯海里什维里弹性平面问题的复变函数解法的基本原理,对非圆形地下洞室位移反分析进行了探讨,从理论上推导了应力场和位移场的一系列公式,并利用数理统计方法进行分析计算,通过电子计算机进行试算法能很简捷地确定映射函数,最后提出实际应用的方法步骤。根据某一工程实例计算,说明用此法反馈计算的位移值与位移实测值最大相差11.67×10~(-3)厘米,仅占最大位移实测值7.69%,对工程具有一定的实用价值。

In this paper the authors present an exact solution of determination of Natural frequency of layered soil deposit by transfer matrix method, transfer function method and impendence method based on the data of cross-hole test. In order to verify the results by the methods mentioned above, it is necessary to compare to the results of finite-element method and field measurement. The effects of the simplification of the number of layers and the depth of bedrock are also considered.

本文对分层地基自由振动特性的精确方法进行了详细的讨论,所采用的方法有传递矩阵法、传递函数法和机械阻抗法,着重对分层地基的固有频率进行了分析,并与有限元法进行了比较。文中还分析了某一工程实例,并与现场地脉动试验结果进行了比较,同时考察了层数简化及“基岩初见深度”等因素对计算结果的影响。
