The experimental results indicate that Gaussian curve plane threshold method is more effective than the others to detect the ribs in digital chest radiographs. By using it, subsequent processing can be simplified and full information of the ribs can be obtained, so more reliable experiment data can be supplied to subsequent computer aided diagnosis.
By experiments of decolorization of synthetic dye wasteweater and real dye wastewater,it is found that nanofiltration technology can reject dye efficiently,and that salt can permeate through membrane,thus separating dye from salt. Nanofiltration is a useful method for decolorization. When dye concentration of the influent is 1 000 mg/L, the decolored rate will be higher than 99%.
In order to calibrate the system and improve the accuracy of measurement, the systematic error of the laser sphericity interferometer is measured, by means of phase shifting technique and phase unwrapping technique. Then the wave error is calculated by subtracting tilt and defocus from the unwrapped phase.
It is helpful to better the results of the consequent processing such as thinning,skeletonization,recognition and vectorization for engineering drawings.

This paper presents a new method named Optimal Beamforming Matching Method, which realizes high-resolution bearing estimation using the output of beams. It can efficiently estimate the direction-of-arrival DOA of multiple targets through beamforming system and can deal with complete coherent sources. Monte Carlo test shows its stable performance and promising application.
A new pressure sensitive conductive rubber is introduced. Based on it, a sensing module is designed, with data processing circuits. The module could be connected into a real time pressure measuring system with a computer system. It is suitable to measure the pressure in the coordinating contact, due to the advantage of small effect of the contact boundry for the thin transducer. It has been used in a shooting-trainig system to measure the pressure of fingertip on the trigger.
