分析了供电系统无功功率与谐波的危害以及无功补偿与谐波抑制的现状、存在问题及发展趋势 ,阐述了在工程上采用分散无功补偿的可行性和设置滤波器的必要性 ,指出了加强动态无功补偿装置和有源电力滤波器及其工程应用研究是供电系统建设和科研的一个重要方向。
