The spin lattice relaxation time values (T_1) of different types of carbons in the methylated humic acids from four soruces are estimated with PRFT method. Fhe appropriate PR (pulse repetition time) values for structural quantitative determination of the humic acids are recommended between 5 and 10seconds. The small values of T_1 indicates that the molecular weights of the humic acids are very large. The NNE ~(13)C--NMR spectra of eight different types of methylated humic acids are recorded, on which, the contents of different types of carbons are quantitatively calculated. Only the fulvic acid extracted from Gong--Xian county weathered coal shows distinct quinomc group absorption signals in the spectrum, while all other samples show vague quinonic group signals, but distinct aromatic carbons signals. Data resulted from quantitative indicate that the aromatic carbon contents as well as the content ratioes of the aromatic carbons to the aliphatic carbons increase in order of soil, peat, lignite and anthracite humic acid, while the aliphatic carbon contents decrease in the same order.

Objective:To compare the value of 3D-FLASH sequence with fat suppression (FS) or water excitation (WE) on evaluating disease models of articular cartilage.Methods:Models of joint effusion,cartilage defects and defects combining effusion were established in 10 sheep knees. Three dimensional fast low angle shot(3D-FLASH)with fat suppression or water excitation, and different repetition time(TR), echo time(TE)and flip angle(FA)were adopted. Signal to noise ratio(SNR)of articular cartilage and contrast noise ratio (CNR)between cartilage and adjacent tissues were measured and compared on MR imaging of different parameters. The display of minimal defect model was evaluated on imaging of different parameters.Results:①SNR of articular cartilage was of no significant differences in four groups of 3D-FLASH sequence with different parameters (P>0.05);②CNR between cartilage and cortical bone showed statistical significance, WE 3D-FLASH(TR 19ms?TE 8.39ms?FA 150)group was higher than other three groups;CNR between cartilage and bone marrow showed statistical significance, WE 3D-FLASH(TR 19ms?TE 8.39ms?FA 150)group was higher than other three groups(P<0.001);CNR between cartilage and joint fluid in FS 3D-FLASH(TR 33ms?TE 6.06ms?FA 150)group was lower than other three groups(P<0.001);③Water excitation as an alternative to fat suppression in 3D-FLASH sequence can shorten scan time significantly;④All of the four groups 3D-FLASH sequence with different parameters revealed 0.5mm minimal defect model with no obvious differences.Conclusion:In 3D-FLASH sequences, water excitation technique as an alternative to fat suppression can shorten scan time significantly,without decreasing image quality.
