Based on analyses of property of the oil water mixture,the process of preheating dispersions and then separated in inclined plate settler was used for industrial toluene water. The influences of the preheating temperature,mix pump speed and the structure parameters on the treatment load were studied through experiments.
The Reynolds numbers of the layer film and laminar flow were correlated based on the effective coalescence of the two layer model and droplets on the inclined plate layer film, and the formula of treatment load of the inclined plate settlers was derived, the calculation error of treatment load was proved to be within 8% with experimental data.
