A series of field and laboratory experiments were conducted during the years of 1956-1958 for studying the effects of soil salinity to the oviposition of the oriental migratory locust the results are summarized as follows: Under natural conditions, the locusts usually lay eggs under the ground surface covered by Phragmites communis, Imperata cylindrica and Aeluropus littaralis but not under the ground of Suaeda ussuriensis. It has been proved by the results of soil analysis that there is a certain relation between the choice of oviposition site and the salt content of soils. (The principal salt ingrediens of saline soils in this area are in various combinations of the following ions: Na, Mg, Ca, Cl, Hco_3, So_4, but nearly 90% of the chemical compounds are sodium chloride). Comparative tests on the artificial salty soils with 15% of water, showed that more eggpods were laid in the soil with lower salt content. The locusts were able to select the actual salinity where the difference between two soils is greater than 0.3%. The effects of temperature on the rate of egg development have been disturbed by the salinity of soils. Eggs deposited in the soil with higher salt content always too more time for hatching, therefore their thermal summations accumulated through the whole developmental period are also greater than those in the soil with lower salt content. Probably the increasing of salt concentration in soil solution will either influence the water absorption of eggs from the soil or cause eggs to lose water. Both processes will delay the growth rate of the developing embryo. The sodium chloride concentration in soil is also an important factor affecting the surviral rate of locust eggs. The percentage of egg-hatching increases with the decrease of salt content in soils. The susceptibility of the eggs to salinity varies with the stage of development of the egg embryocs. For instance, the maximum tolerance of the newly laid eggs to salinity in the soil is only 0.3% by weight while the eggs, have already absorbed water and with the embryoes in stage of blastokinesis can survive in a higher salinity of 3.5%.

In this paper the adsorption behaviors of U(Ⅳ) and U(Ⅵ) on this polymer from chloride solutions and effects of hydrochloric acid concentrations, salting-out agents and organic solvents on distribution coefficient (Kd) of uranium are investigated. Adsorption mechanism of uranyl ion (UO22+) on this polymer was studied with IR spectra and by means of the adsorption behaviors of compounds of similar structure. Experimental results show that both polyether section and carboxyl groups in EDTA-diaminodibenzo-18-crown-6 take part in complexation with uranyl ion and synergistic effect appeared.

本文报道了一种新的EDTA-二氨基二苯并-18-冠-6缩聚物顺、反异构体对铀(Ⅳ)和铀(Ⅵ)在盐酸介质中的吸附行为。研究了盐酸浓度、盐析剂和有机溶剂对铀在两相间分配系数的影响。为了探索吸附机理,本文用类似结构的化合物作吸附铀的对比和从红外光谱均可看出,吸附剂的各配位基在同铀的配合中,表现出明显的协同作用。
