Based on a number of calculations by computer and measurements of stresses in the reinforcements of box foundations in the field, the influence of the superstructure rigidity on the integral moment of box foundations are analyzed in this paper. The calculation methods of box foundations under frame structures and under shear wall structures are given separately. Based on a number of calculations by computer and measurements of stresses in the reinforcements of box foundations in the field, the influence of the superstructure rigidity on the integral moment of box foundations are analyzed in this paper. The calculation methods of box foundations under frame structures and under shear wall structures are given separately. As to the box foundations under frame structures, a simplified calculation method with consideration of the influence of the superstructure rigidity by equivalent beam method is proposed and it is proved that it is sufficiently accurate. The equivalent beam formula given by G.G.Meyerhof in 1953 is examined and improved. It is recommended to use the improved equivalent beam formula to calculate the rigidity of rigid frame structure.

The equivalent beam is a simply supported single-span beam with elastic rotational constraints...

This paper points out that the first n natural frequencies of continuous beams or one-story rigid frames without sideway are always somewhat greater than the respective “simple-supported-beam fundamental frequency” of the corresponding structures respectirely. On this basis, this paper suggests an equivalent beam method for determining the natural frequencies of continuous beams and one-story rigid frames withot sideway. The equivalent beam is a simply supported single-span beam with elastic rotational constraints at its ends. The jth natural frequency of the structure under consideration is equal to the fundamental frequency of the jth equivalent beam. A unified expression is formulated for the evaluation of the fundamental fre-queney of the equivalent beam by the method of iteration. It is found that satisfactory results can be obtained generally by making 1 or 2 trials.

本文指出,连续梁或无侧移单层刚架的前n个固有频率,总是分别略大于其相应结构的对应"简支基频".利用这个性质,提出了用以计算连续梁或无侧移单层刚架的前n个固有频率的等效梁方法.等效梁是一个两端具有弹性转动约束的简支梁,第(j)个等效梁的基本频率,就是原结构的第j个固有频率.导出了用迭代法求等效梁的基本频率的统一公式.一般进行1-2次试算,可得出满意的结果.

Steel beams used in practice are always initially imperfect. It is found that these imperfections, including residual stresses, initial deformation and etc. are unfavorable to the load-carrying capacity of the beams. For a practical imperfect beam, the ultimate load analysis,which can predict the nonlinear load - displacement behavior,is more realistic than the buckling analysis.In the presented paper, the equilibrium equations for geometrically nonlinear thin walled beams with open sections are introduced....

Steel beams used in practice are always initially imperfect. It is found that these imperfections, including residual stresses, initial deformation and etc. are unfavorable to the load-carrying capacity of the beams. For a practical imperfect beam, the ultimate load analysis,which can predict the nonlinear load - displacement behavior,is more realistic than the buckling analysis.In the presented paper, the equilibrium equations for geometrically nonlinear thin walled beams with open sections are introduced. The stress - strain relation is assumed to be ideal elastic-plastic. The imperfections of residual stresses, load eccentricity, initial deflections and twist are considered. The equilibrium equations are solved by the orthogonal collocation method which is almost as accurate as the finite element method and more convenient for application. To improve the numerical results, spline functions are employed as displacement expressions.Based on the method of this paper, a computer program is developed for imperfect Ⅰ-beams. Good agreement is found between the test and numerical results. The comparison with the practical design formulae of Specifications has confirmed that the new improvement in the Chinese design rule is proper.

钢梁整体稳定的屈曲理论不能直接地反映几何初缺陷的不利影响。本文提出了正交配置分析几何非线性的弹塑性开口薄壁梁的方法,以此计算有初缺陷工字形钢梁的整体稳定极限荷载。本文方法有益于提高精度和简化计算。丈中将极限荷载曲线与国内外的规范设计曲线作了比较。
