The aim of the present paper is to study photoelastic determination of stress intensity factors by means of measuring the area ringed by an isochromate near the end of a crack. Using our method, we have obtained some stress intensity factors for type Ⅰ and mixed type Ⅰ——Ⅱ. The results keep stable, with errors less than 6%.

本文提出光弹性测定应力强度因子的单参数面积法,其特点是测取裂纹尖端等色线所包围的面积,并以此为参数来确定应力强度因子。用本公式计算K_Ⅰ,数据比较稳定,最大偏差在6%以内。用同样的原理也可以测混合型应力强度因子(K_Ⅰ—KⅡ)。

In this paper, a new method-biparametric area method in photoelasticily is proposed to determine the stress intensity factors K1. This method is based on the analysing and reviewing to the single-parametric radius method, the biparametric radius method and the single-parametric area method in 2-D photoelasticity for determining the stress-intensity factors.The experimental results for tension and three-points bending specimen with edge crack are obtained by using this method. Comparison between these experimental results obtained by using various methods shows that the results of biparametric area method are more stable and accurate than that of others.

本文在分析二维光弹测定应力强度因子K_1的单参数向径法、双参数向径法、单参数面积法的基础上,提出了光弹性测定应力强度因子K_1的一种新方法—双参数面积法。用单边裂纹三点弯曲试件和单边裂纹拉伸试件进行了实验检测。通过对各种方法实验结果的对比,证明双参数面积法所得结果稳定,误差小。
