The extension directions of cracks predicted by this criterion are more approximate to those obtained by exeperiments than by any other fracture criterions.(2) We have pointed out that it is the direction of the branch of Z-shaped cracks that plays an essential role in the values of K_Ⅰ, K_Ⅱ.(3) In order to predict fatigue life of mixed mode fatigue crack propagation, a new formula for fatigue growth rate, an exponential formula of the converted extensional stress intensity, factor, is derived The fatigue life predicted by this formula are more approximate to those obtained by experiments than by any others.Besides, we discussed about the application of the principal stress intensity factor——K~*, strain energy release rate——G, strain energy density factor——S, to predicting the fatigue life.

The authors of this paper carry out tests and research for this problem, utilizing the several case hardening technologies — ionitriding, silicon carbide impregnation, chromium-plating to treat the surface of piston rings of cylinder liners. Considering the wear resistances, which are compared during tests, and many other factors such as economics, technique and pollution, the authors come up with some friction partners to choose from. Silicon carbide impregnation is considered promising.

The localized dead time is about 10 μs/ 2 mm which equals a dead zone of 2 μs.cm.Some examples of using our SQS detectors in areas of low-energy nuclear technology, health physics and environment protection are given.

本文描述了自猝灭流光(SQS)探测器在我国的具体条件下研究的第一批结果:在50欧姆负载上输出脉冲的上升时间为3至5毫微秒,脉冲宽度约30毫微秒,幅度约100毫伏。计数率随电压变化的曲线的坪长约700伏。工作气体的比例在可变范围20%之内变化不影响其性能。对带电粒子的探测效率接近100%。可正常工作的计数率在每毫米阳极丝内每秒>10~3次。在2毫米阳极丝上测得的局部死时间约10微秒。当工作在流气式时可连续使用,没有寿命问题。密闭式使用时,寿命>5×10~8次脉冲。造价低廉,长度1米左右的SQS管造价约10元。我们制成了很多种SQS管及SQS多丝室。多丝室的性能与管状的相似。本文还给出了把SQS探测器用于电子直线加速器窄脉冲强中子辐射场的测量的初步结果以及研制SQS放射性测鼍仪的初步结果。我们的结论是:SQS探测器可以部分地取代费用较高的闪烁计数器,可以全部取代盖革计数管。
