To describe the microbial assay of polymyxin B in Poly Pred and neomycin interfering with the assay in the compound formulation. Bordetella bronchiseptica was used as test organism. Medium is USP medium Ⅰ. The linearity range is 4 to 25 u/ml with r =0.9993. When the standard solution and the test solution have nearly the same as neomycin concentration, the interfering effect of neomycin in the assay of polymyxin B is reduced.

METHODS A simple method for defining Gram-negative bacteria was used to differentiate B. parapertussis from bronchitis sputum culture on blood plates. And then the biological characteristics as well as the DNA confirmation(G+C mol%)were assayed. RESULTS On the basis of all above studies, the bacterium was identified as B.parapertussis. CONCLUSIONS The simple method for defining Gram-negative bacteria can be used as a convenient and feasible way to identify the B. parapertussis clinically when blood serum diagnosis is not available.

目的 探讨副百日咳博德特菌鉴定方法及细菌检验相关问题。方法 借助支气管炎痰培养在血平板上的菌落产生褐色素 ,将其用革兰阴性菌简易定属方法鉴定 ,进一步检查生物学特征 ,测定菌株的DNA碱基组成(G +Cmol% ) ,最后确认。结果 鉴定为副百日咳博德特菌。结论 在不具备博德特菌诊断血清条件下采用临床革兰阴性菌属简易法鉴定副百日咳博德特菌 ,操作简便、可行

Three types of bacteria were derived from lung tissues of infected tow-month rabbit(marked as a, b and c). Through checking up form characteristics of pure 30 strains of isolated bacteria, the result showed a bacteria (17 strains) was B.bronchiseptica, b bacteria (8 strains) was P.aeruginosa, and c bacteria (6 strains) was Escherichia coli.The experiment of artificial infection showed that all these three isolated bacteria were the corresponding pathogenic bacteria of infection.

从自然发生的2月龄幼兔肺脏中分离到3种类型的细菌(记作:a,b,c),经对所做的纯培养30株分离菌的形态特征、理化特性等检验,结果表明a菌(17株)为支气管炎博德特氏菌(Bordetellabronchiseptica);b菌(8株)为铜绿假单胞菌(Pseudomonasaeruginosa);c菌(6株)为大肠埃希氏菌(Escherichiacoli)。通过人工感染试验,表明其为相应的致病菌。
