The present paper deals with the karyotype of Red sea bream (Pagrosomus major). The metaphase chromosome specimen were prepared from kidney cell after injected PHA and colchine. Drying at 60℃ and Giemsa stain were used. The result shows that the diploid chromosome number of Red sea bream is 48. The karyotype consists of 1 pair of submetacentric chromosome and 23 pair of telocentric chromosome. The average relative length of individual chromosome in the chromosome complements falls whithin the limits of 2.576±0.117...

真鲷幼鱼为材料,胸腔注射PHA,36h后注射秋水仙碱溶液。1.5~3h后断尾失血约0.5h时,取出肾脏部分在鱼用生理盐水中稍洗后制成细胞悬浮液,通过低渗、固定处理后,用适当浓度的细胞悬浮液进行冰片滴片。60℃干燥制片,室温下吉姆萨染色。油浸镜下检查标本,以放大照片进行染色体测量。分析了染色体数目和组型,确定了真鲷染色体数目2n=48,其中有一对亚中部着丝点染色体,23对端部着丝点染色体,每条染色体相对长度平均范围:2.576±0.117至1.489±0.110,臂数NF=25。

The feed rate of P. major and its influencing factors was reported. Daily ingestion of P. major (a weight of 15 -30 g) was 1. 5g with an average ingestion rate of 5. 43%. The feed intensity is stronger in daytime (76. 3%) than at night. The maximal strongest feeding period from 6 to 8 o'clock in the morning. The optimal water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and intensity of illumination for the feed of P. major were 26-28℃, 25-30%, 5. 0-6. 0 mg/l, and 50-500 lux, respectively. Feeding 6 times a day...

观察体重为15~31g的真鲷日摄食量为1.5g,摄食率为5.43%。白天(6:00~18:00)日摄食量大于夜间(18:00~6:00),占日摄食量76.3%。特别是早晨(6:00~8:00)为摄食高峰期,占全日摄食量22.4%。真鲷摄食最适水温为26~28℃,盐度25~30,溶解氧5~6mg/L,光照强度50~500lX。真鲷幼鱼每天投饵6次比2次和4次生长效果好。
