The harmonic drive is one of the varieties of mechanical transmisions. Deformations of the flexible gear complicate its meshing theory. When researching the meshing theory of the harmonic gears, specialists home and abroad usually use methods of model transformation, by which the engagements of the harmonic gear are transformed into the engagements of a series of ordinary gears whos ecentre distances are changed continuously. This paper presents a direct method which requires no model transformation. It is based on the modern meshing theory [1] with adequate consideration of the engaging characteristics of the harmonic gears. The direct method is closly related to the computation of value with electroniccomputer. In addition, the test results obtained on test bed are briefly described inthe paper.

谐波齿轮传动这一新型的传动形式,由于柔性齿轮的变形特征而使得其啮合原理复杂化了。对于谐波齿轮啮合原理的研究,国内外学者多采用模型转换的方法,即把谐波齿轮的啮合代换为一系列的、中心距连续变化的一对刚性齿轮之问的啮合。本文提出了无需模型转换的直接方法。该方法主要是借助于齿轮现代啮合理论,同时充分注意了谐波齿轮的啮合的特殊性。该直接方法是同计算机数值计算密切结合的。本文对实验台的谐波装置运转、测试和从中考察到谐波传动的一些动力特性作了扼要介绍。
