According to comparing the result of elastic-method with plastic-method and the result of PMCAD with manual calculation, it has been shown: for four edges supported rectangular reinforced concrete plate, the method of yield line can not only estimate the load capacity and crack width of reinforced concrete plate accurately, save steel bar effectively, but also avoid the discontinuousness of results taking place in the vicinities of theoretical boundary between one-way slab and two-way slab.
According to the cracks commonly existed in cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor-slab, based upon analysis of causing reasons effective prevention and treatment measures are proposed from two aspects: design and construction in order to provide references for designers engaged in relevant area.

To make the brick office building built in the 50s safer and applicable to the modern requirements, its structure has been renovated and wall board of cast in situ reinforced concrete applied to strengthen the original structure. As a result, several brick concrete "tube" structure with large integrated rigid have been composed within the building structure. The horizontal force is carried by concrete "sandwich wall" while vertical force by brick wall, forming a well performance aseismic structure.

In this paper according to the fissures in cast in place reinforced concrete slab in building works the reasons caused those cracks are analyzed from construction and design aspect. Meanwhile, several prevention measures and cracks treatment measures are proposed.
