A double-blind randomized trial was made on 300 patients with respiratory tract diseases. The daily oral dosage were 90mg for adults (90 in each group) or Img/kg for children (60 in each group) for 7d.
Results In monitoring of respiratory tract diseases, there was a strong positive correlation between the number of pneumonia-like patients and SARS onsets (P<0.001, R=0.8572), however, there was no statistic significance between the monitoring results of fevered clinic and the number of SARS onsets.
The results of DIF showed that the positive rate of the Cpn antigen were 69.34% and 72.06% respectively for the PBMC samples from patients suffered from cardiovascular diseases and respiratory tract diseases.
