The results showed that:① Immunoactive AngⅡ was mainly distributed at luminal and glandular epithelium in rat uterus during estrus cycle, and its density was highest at proestrus, while lowest at diestrus;
These results suggested that AngⅡ and its receptor might be involved in estrus cycle and embryo implantation of rats; and the expression of AngⅡ , AT1R and AT2R was regulated by estrogen and progesterone.
The estrum of the mice was observed before and after transplantation, and the follicular development of the fresh and frozen-thawed ovarian tissues were also analyzed.
Results In the sham operation group, no changes were observed in the estrum and follicular development. All the mice in control group showed normal estrum after operation, the mice in the cryopreservation group resumed estrum after autograft at different time, and the ovaries developed normal follicles.
Conclusion The mouse ovaries can survive the freezing-thawing process, and reestablish the estrum and normal follicular development after autologous transplantation.
To test if leptin responsiveness may be regulated we assayed hypothalamic response to leptin during the estrous cycle; when changes in food intake are known to occur.
To fill this gap in our knowledge, we identified and characterized the tissue specific expression of IGFBP-1 to-6 in rat oviducts over the estrous cycle byin situ hybridization and immunocytochemistry.
Results are tentatively explained, suggesting that the variability of the female response to stress during the different phases of the estrus cycle, permitted them to perform differently after chronic cannabis treatment.
The ependymal surface structure of the third ventricular infundibular region were studied at various phases of the estrous cycle in the adult female rat by scanning electron microscopy. It is showed that the morphology, microvilli and bulbous structure of the regional ependymal surface changed in relation to the estorus cycle, and the number of the bulbous structure(2-5μ) of the ependymal surface was statistically more at the proestrous animal than that of diestrus. The functional significance of the surfac...
In the present paper, the immunocytochemical method was used to determinethe cyclic morphological changes of the rat's pituitary gonadotrophs during an estrouscycle. Four groups of female rats were decapitated at the four different phasesduring the estrous cycle. Paraffin coronal sections of cephalic, middle, and caudalportions of the pituitary gland were mounted and stained with a-hCG and HRPlabelled antibody method. The number and size of stained gonadotrophs werequantified by using chequer and point-coun...
In this paper the concentration of estrogen receptor in the cytosol (ERc) of mouse uterus was measured during the estrous cycle and the early pregnancy. Kunming Strain mice with the normal estrous cycle were used. Uterine tissues were homogenized. Cytoplasmic fractions of the uterine tissues were separated from the nuclear ones by centrifugation. The cytoplasmic fractions were incubated 3H-17 beta-estradiol and excess 17 beta -estradiol. Receptor bound 3H-estradiol was separated from free 3H-estradiol by DC...
