为了全面深入地理解与贯彻《引信安全性设计准则》,提高引信的安全性设计水平,在广泛搜集关于故障保险(fail-safe)论述和故障保险设计实例的基础上,详细分析和讨论了引信故障保险性能及其设计问题。随着引信技术的飞跃发展,引信故障保险设计的内涵也已发生了深刻变化。改称引信故障保险为引信失效安全更能反映其内涵。现代引信失效安全应包含在下述三种情况下引信均不应引起弹药的意外作用或爆炸:引信解除保险环境异常;引信所有保险装置(保险件)失效、错装、漏装或误装了不合格品;弹药配装引信、引信装定和手工解除保险等人工操作失误。引信失效安全性能是仅次于隔爆和冗余保险而比延期解除保险更为重要的安全性能。引信膛炸、早炸等恶性事故也与这些产品不具备失效安全性能有关。
