Emodin and rhein at a daily dosage of 50 mg/kg markedly inhibited the growth of melanoma. The percentages of inhibition were 76 and 73 respectively. Emodin and rhein also inhibited the growth of mammary carcinoma and Ehrlich carcinoma (ascitic form) respectively. Rhein showed no definite antitumor effect on sarcoma 180 and Ehrlich carcinoma(solid form).

An investigation of antineoplasia effect induced by Buthus martensii (BM) of Chinese drug in mice with SRS or MA—737 mammary carcinoma has been made and is reported here. The extract solution or material of BM was given subcutaneously in the dose of 0.2ml(=crude drug 0.04g)/mouse,every other day, for five times. The inhibitory rate on SRS soild tumor was 38.8% (P<0.05) and 55.5% (P<0.01) on the 11th day during drug administration and the 8th day after administration, respectively. An investigation of antineoplasia effect induced by Buthus martensii (BM) of Chinese drug in mice with SRS or MA—737 mammary carcinoma has been made and is reported here. The extract solution or material of BM was given subcutaneously in the dose of 0.2ml(=crude drug 0.04g)/mouse,every other day, for five times. The inhibitory rate on SRS soild tumor was 38.8% (P<0.05) and 55.5% (P<0.01) on the 11th day during drug administration and the 8th day after administration, respectively. The inhibitory rate on MA—737 mammary carcinoma was 51.8% (P<0.01) on the 12th day during drug administration every day and 30.4% (P<0.05) on the 8th day after administration. The existence rate of SRS ascites type mice with tumor in the BM administering group was 12.5—20.7% (P<0.01) longer than that in the contrast group. The cytochemistry of tumor was also affected by the extract solution of BM: DNA in the tissues of both tumors was obviously diminished and the gradually increased AKP in mammary carcinoma was decreased tendentiously. Apparently, Buthus martensii has an obvious inhibiting effect on neoplasm growth in mice with tumor.

为探索中药全蝎抗肿瘤作用,我们用全蝎提取液和粗提物,观察其对网状细胞肉瘤(SRS)和MA—737乳腺癌带瘤小鼠肿瘤生长过程的作用。结果:当以全蝎提取液0.2ml,相当生药0.04g/只,隔天皮下给药连用5次后,在用药第11天和停药第8天时,对SRS实体瘤的抑制率为38.8%(P<0.05)和55.5%(P<0.01);对MA—737乳腺癌,每天用药,计12次后抑制率为51.8%(P<0.01),停药8天时为30.4%(P<0.05)。全蝎提取液对SRS腹水型带瘤小鼠的生存率较对照组延长12.5%~20.7%(P<0.01)。全蝎提取液对肿瘤细胞化学的影响,可使上述两种瘤组织的DNA明显减少;并使乳腺癌逐渐增多的AKP趋向减少。表明全蝎对带瘤小鼠的肿瘤生长有明显抑制作用。

It was found that(1)Harringtonine enhanced the AC specific activity by 28.0%, decreased the PDE specific activity by 48.1% (P<0.002)and increased the AC/PDE ratio by 144.4% (P<0.005)in hepatoma. (2)At the first day after stopping injection, BMK crude extract and LRH-A inhibited the growth of mouse mammary adenocarcinoma and decreased the AC specific activities by 62.0% and 46.0% respectively, with no effect on the PDE specific activities, but AC/PDE ratios were increased at the eighth day after stopping injection. Obviously some antitumor drugs can influence the AC and PDE specific activities, elevating or lowering the cAMP levels to produce an inhibition of tumor growth.

我们观察了腹腔注射三尖杉酯碱对大鼠移植性肝癌(BERH-2)和皮下注射全蝎提取物与LRH.A对乳腺癌组织腺苷酸环化酶(AC)和环腺苷酸磷酸二酯酶(PDE)比活力的影响。发现:1.三尖杉酯碱能使肝癌组织AC比活力升高28.0%,PDE比活力降低48.1%(P<0.002),AC/PD正比值增加144.4%(P<0.005);对正常肝则无明显作用。2.全蝎提取物和LRH-A抑制乳腺癌生长,并能使乳腺癌组织中AC比活力在停药第一天降低,而PDE比活力不变,AC/PDE比值减小。在停药第八天,乳腺癌组织AC比活力升高,PDE比活力降低,AC/PD正比值增大。结果表明抗癌药物通过改变AC与PDE活力,使cAMP水平过高或过低,抑制肿瘤生长。
