This study deals with the circadian rhythms of sex pheromone production and release in the jujube leafroller moth Ancylis sativa Liu. The methods of extraction of sex pheromone glands (SPG) , vial washing collection and electroantennogram assay were used. The results showed that the sex pheromone production of the female moths were not significantly different in the first six days after adult emergence, and the peak of the content of sex pheromone in the glands was seen around 04:00 hours and the peak time of sex pheromone release was around 07:00 hours. The observation of male moth attracted by virgin female in the field indicated a good coincidence with the sex pheromone production and release in the laboratory.

本文利用腺体提取、瓶内收集、触角电位和田间试验等方法对枣粘虫产生和释放性信息素时辰节律进行了研究。其中瓶内收集性信息素的方法,在研究昆虫释放性信息素时辰节律方面报道很少,更重要的是,此法在我们的实验中取得了比较满意的效果。研究结果表明:(1)羽化后1—6天的提取物产生的触角电位无明显差异,说明性信息素在此期间的产生与日龄无关(2)腺体中性信息素的含量高峰在凌晨4点,而从体内往体外释放的高峰在早晨7点。(3)利用处女雌蛾不同时辰的诱蛾量的田间试验也进一步证明了枣粘虫产生和释放性信息素与交配行为在时辰节律上的同步性。

The roleof the needle volatiles in the selection of oviposition site for the masson pinecaterpillar,Dendrolimus punctatus was investigated with normal and antennectomized female moths.The experiments showed that normal moths depositedmuch more eggs on the pine needles than antennectomized ones.Electroantennogram(EAG)study showed that both sexes of unmated and mated mothshad strong EAG responses to the needle volatiles.The volatiles were fractionated by preparative GC and GC fractions were assayed for EAG activitiesto unmated and mated females.EAG activity was found in the fractionscontaining some of monoterpenes,monoterpene alcohols and monoterpeneacetates.The largest EAG response was elicited by the fraction mainly containing β-pinene.

The volatile components of ash\|leaf maple are extracted and determined by adsorption, thermo\|desorption and GC\|MS analysis. Electroantennogram (EAG)activity of 11 volatile chemical monomers in different concentration of ash\|leaf maple to Anoplophora glabripennis (Motsch.) antenna is determined. The influences of different parts of antenna and different solvents to A.glabripennis EAG are also studied. The results show that the EAG activity of different chemical monomers declined when their concentration decreased. As monomers, Hexanol, trans\|2\|Hexen\|1\|ol, Cis\|3\|Hexen\|1\|ol, Butyl acetate, Hexanal and trans\|2\|Hexen\|1\|al have strong EAG responses respectively. However, when trans\|2\|Hexen\|1\|al is mixed with Butyl acetate, Furfural and 5\|Methy\|Furfural, the EAG activities are obviously enhanced. It also concludes that the top antenna of A.glabripennis is the sensitive part to volatile, and ethanol may have some EAG responses to A.glabripennis .
