In various silicone elastomer, the medical heat vulcanizing methyl-vinyl silicone elastomer is applied widely and rapidly to clinical service for its excellent property. The safety appears more important than ever because of a lot of output and applications.The purpose of our research work was to find out the influence of the post vulcanization procedure on the biological effects of the silicone elastomer. We made a Series of samples of silicone elastomers with varying degrees of post vulcanization according to the formula for the medical heat vulcanizing methylvinyl silicone elastomer and certain technology requirments. We used cell culture technique to do biological tests on the silicone elastomers. The cell strain was L-929 and the culture medium was Eagle's MEM. We measured the Relative Growth Rate (RGR) of 5 kinds of samples in every group in the cell relative growth rate test.Furthermore, we observed and took a picture of the morphology of cells that directly contacted with the silicone samples through the Olympus IM microscope in the test of cell morphlolgy.With the time of post vulcanization increasing, the RGR increased and the grade of toxicity decreased from grade 3 to grade 1. The results of cell morphology test verified this trend. The shorter the time of post vulcanization was, the greater the grade of the cytotoxicity was.In a word, the experiment is beneficial to the study of the relation between the physical, chemical procedures and biocompatibility procedures. That is of significance to the industrial production of silicone elastomers.

为考察二段硫化工艺过程对硅橡胶生物学性能的影响,作者根据医用热硫化甲基乙烯基硅橡胶弹性体配方和一定的工艺要求,制取一系列不同二段硫化程度的硅橡胶试样,运用组织培养技术对硅橡胶试样进行生物学测试,特别是测定细胞相对增殖度;进一步利用倒置显微镜观察了相同试样直接接触细胞的形态。结果显示,随着二段硫化时间的增加,细胞相对增殖度增加,而毒性级别降低。

The process of the post vulcanization of three kinds of fluoroelastomer 26-41 systems was simulated by means of a headspace analyser and volatile compounds generated in theprocess were determinated by GC-MC,On the basis of the mechanism of vulcanizationand the subsequent investigation ,obtained experimental results were discussed.

用液上分析器摸拟26-41生胶3种不同硫化体系胶料的二段硫化过程,色谱-质谱联用鉴定出大部分挥发物组分。根据硫化反应机理和进一步实验,对结果进行了讨论。
