Statistic model, one-dimensional distributed model, time series analysis model and mixed model were established for structure behavior modeling and safety monitoring requirements. Based on the development of subsystem of Xiaolangdi safety monitoring software system, the paper discusses briefly technical problems related to the analytic models of the system. Statistic model, one-dimensional distributed model, time series analysis model and mixed model were established for structure behavior modeling and safety monitoring requirements. Engineering application practices demonstrated that for every above model, time-space effect and their coupling, the reservoir water level and atmosphere temperature factors and other essential technique problems must be considered with different ways for the large underground structures in the modeling process in comparation with dam and other ground structures. In the system the FEM calculation involved mainly two-dimensional elasto-plastic and visco-elastic models is established. A specific calculation procedure for the time-space effect coupling of underground structures was preprocessed. Above techniques and considerations can be applied and referenced for other underground structure safety monitoring systems.
