Phytase activity in Oryza sativa L. (tested cvs: Huda 242, Bin 064, Qionggeng 2 and Minghui 63 ) with an optimum pH of 5. 8 was discovered from extracts of dormant and germlnative seeds, phytase activity has a direct bearing on seed germination. When phytase is inhibited, the seeds do not sprout. The phytase is activated by calcium and inhibited by glucose. Phytic acid substantially inhibits seed bud, and phytase can remove this inhibition.

以水稻品种湖大242、丙064、琼粳-2、明恢63为材料研究了植酸酶活性与水稻种子萌发的关系。实验结果表明,植酸酶活性的表达启动了种子的萌发,该酶在所试水稻种子中反应最适pH5.8,其酶活性可被钙离子所激活,被葡萄糖所抑制,种子中植酸的存在会抑制种子的萌发,一旦植酸酶活性增强,则能解除此种抑制。

采用土培盆栽法进行了甜菜对外加有机磷──植醚的吸收利用特点和植醚酶对改善甜菜磷素营养及生物产量等效应的研究,结果表明:甜菜能在一定程度上吸收利用土壤外源植酸态磷,其生物产量效果为施等量无机磷的70%以上;植酸酶的应用能显著加速有机磷的水解,增加溶液中磷的含量,促进甜菜根系生长发育,提高磷吸收速度,增加磷的吸收量,并最终体现在生物产量的增加;植酸酶的效果随配施的植酸量的增加而增加,当配施的植酸量达到60mg/kg时,其效果达到施等量无机磷水平。

以杂交稻种汕优63为材料,采用不同浓度植酸浸种,对其萌发过程进行了研究.实验发现:一定浓度的植酸能延缓种子萌发,降低种子萌发率.这可能与植酸抑制植酸酶活性有关.同时,植酸还可能又对种子萌发起关键作用的磷酸化酶和α淀粉酶等水解酶活性起强烈的抑制作用.实验结果还表明:GA对用植酸处理过的种子有明显的解抑制作用.这将为解决杂交稻制种中存在的阴雨天穗上发芽的问题提供理论依据
