On the poem of Zhao Hun (Calling Back the Soul) in Songs of Chu ,there has ever since been in the academic circles an endless debate, which involves two points:(1)Who was the author of the poem? (2)Whose soul should be called back?The author of this paper argues that this poem was writtn by Qu Yuan and the soul to be called back is that of Qu Yuan . What the poem expresses is Qu Yuans desire to return to his homestate--the State of Chu and his patriotic emotion.

对于楚辞中的《招魂》一文,学术界一直争论不休。争论的问题一是作者是谁;二是到底招谁的魂。本文认为,《招魂》为屈原所作,其所招之魂为屈原之生魂。因此,《招魂》所表现的是屈原魂归楚国的愿望,并以此抒发了作者的爱国情思
