    Based on the laboratory results of the Institute of Petroleum, Academia Sinica, on urea extractive crystallization, a pilot plant with a capacity of 0.15 ton per day has been constructed & operated. With water as urea solvent and an organic chlorine compound as activator, the adducts formed into small spheres which are easily filterable. The main characteristics of the process developed was that the adduction, filtration, washing and decomposition operations were carried out in the same vessel. The design data...

    Based on the laboratory results of the Institute of Petroleum, Academia Sinica, on urea extractive crystallization, a pilot plant with a capacity of 0.15 ton per day has been constructed & operated. With water as urea solvent and an organic chlorine compound as activator, the adducts formed into small spheres which are easily filterable. The main characteristics of the process developed was that the adduction, filtration, washing and decomposition operations were carried out in the same vessel. The design data for a commercial plant were obtained during the pilot plant run. Satisfactory dewaxing results were obtained for both light and heavy petroleum fractions with various wax contents. For light petroleum fractions, the freezing point can be lowered to below-70C. The process developed is suitable for manufacturing speciality low freezing point petroleum products, and the n-paraffins obtained after refining are good raw materials for making higher alcohols, detergents, etc.

    The changes of carbon and hydrogen composition of petroleum fractions and petroleum products in the process of decarbonization and hydrogenation are reviewed and their efficient utilization examined. For obtaining maximum yield of light products, an ingenious combination of hydrogenation and decarbonization is proposed for the rational adjustment of carbon and hydrogen composition at minimum cost.

    The petroleum processing industry of China is now fairly founded with a total annual capacity over 100 million tons. 79 million tons of crude oils were processed in 1984──an all-time high record. In confrontation with the fast growing demand of products, the requirement of higher product quality and the rapid change of demand patterns, China's petroleum processing industry needs to rapidly enhance its science and technology capability and to accelerate the technical innovation during the seventh five-year plan....

In confrontation with the fast growing demand of products, the requirement of higher product quality and the rapid change of demand patterns, China's petroleum processing industry needs to rapidly enhance its science and technology capability and to accelerate the technical innovation during the seventh five-year plan. Major efforts should be concentrated on the development of the various deep conversion technologies around catalytic cracking to increase the yeilds of light products, the improvement of the product quality such as increasing the regular gasoline octane level to higher than 90 (RON), speeding up computer applications in processing and management,further improvement of energy conservation, expending the current crude capacity and the rational utilization of oil resources for the production of petrochemicals.

    我国石油加工工业已有相当基础,年原油加工能力超过一亿吨,1984年实际加工7900万吨原油,创历史最高水平,但是面对产品需求增长,产品质量提高和需求产品结构的变化等新形势,在第七个五年计划期间,中国石油加工工业需要大力发展科学技术,加速技术改造的步伐,重点是发展以催化裂化为主的各种深度加工工艺,增加轻质石油产品收率;提高产品质量,特别是把普通汽油的辛烷值提到90(研究法)以上;加速电子计算机在生产过程和管理方面的应用;降低能耗;扩大原油加工能力以及合理利用原油资源发展石油化工产品等。
