The slices method is actually a finite difference method, and the accuracy of computation usually depends on the number or width of slices. This paper presents the method of quadrilateral element which makes possible the derivation of the formulas by integration. The method has the merits of increasing not only the accuracy but also the efficiency of computation. In comparison with the results of other methods, the result of stability analysis of the Chenkang earth dam shows that this method is much better. Finally, the location of the most critical slip circle in a composite slope is discussed.

Basing upon the equilibrium conditions of a minute segment of space-curvedprestressing tendon, theoretical formulae are derived in this paper for calcula-ting the frictional losses of prestress in the tendon. It is proved that the formulae are the same as that generally used for frictional losses in plane-cur-ved tendons, provided the space-curved section length measured from the tension-ing end to the testing point and its subtended space angle are taken for the are-length S and subtended angle θ in the formulae...

Subsequenfly, theformulae for determing the are length S and the subtended angle θ of the twocommonly used space-curved tendons, solenoidal curve and circular are on a ey-lindrical surface, are given and the method for simplification of the calculation as well as the error thus induced are discussed. Comparison of the calculatedresults with the measured on a model test shows close agreement in numericalvalue and their patterns of variation are also alike.

本文根据预应力空间曲线束微段的平衡条件,导得了空间曲线预应力束因摩擦引起的预应力损失理论计算通式。证明:对于空间曲线束,这一损失仍可按通用的平面曲线束的相应公式计算,惟公式中(μθ+kx)的θ角应取张拉端至验算点的空间包角,而x相应的取空间曲线弧长。本文还给出了常用的二类空间曲线束(如螺旋曲线和圆柱面上的圆弧曲线)空间包角θ和弧长S的计算公式,并讨论了简化计算方法以及由此而引起的误差。将理论计算结果与某工程模型试验中实测结果作了比较,不仅二者变化规律相同,而且数值也很接近。

The friction circle method is often used to analyse the slope stability in Open-pit mines.The topographic profile of slides is always located by graphic method, which is very Complicated and difficult to avoid errors.This paper presents the analytical method for analysis of slope stability. We used the digital computers to locate the topographic profile of slides automatically and calculate the factor of safety by intergration. The results of Calculation show that this methed is better than others.

在露天矿边坡稳定性分析中通常采用圆弧滑动而的分析方法。而滑面位置的确定都是用作图法,其过程复杂并难以避免出现误差。本文提出了一种边坡稳定性分析的解析法。它应用电子计算机自动确定滑面位置和用积分方法计算稳定系数。计算结果表明,这种方法比其他的方法优越。
