A series of experiments for wheat, bean and pea seeds on the pulsofluidized bed dryer were carried out. Based on the results of this investigation the aerodynamics and drying kinetics of pulsoflu-idized bed drying were analyzed. The relationship between the drying rate and drying air temperature, superficial air velocity, static bed height, pulsation frequency and perforation rate of screen were developed. Also, the relationship of pressure drop with static bed height was obtained.

The structure can not only increase the open area of the screen, but also guide material in screening process, and the probability of undersized material which falls into screen holes can have an increase of 30% or more. It is shown that sizing efficiency of the cylinder is higher than that of general cylinder and that axial average speed of material has certain decrease by experiments.
