The common language of Mandarin in the Ming Dynasty(明) is very complex. It is difficult to say what the standard of Ming(明) mandarin phonetic system is. There are two reasons for this. One is that the developmental procedure of the phonetics of common language was limited. The other is that the people’s recognition of standard pronunciation in the Ming Dynasty(明) is different.

明代官话的共同语问题是个相当复杂的问题,明代官话究竟以甚么样的音系作标准,还很难说。既由于汉民族共同语语音发展的进程有局限性,而且在人们的心目中,对当时标准音的认识也很不一致。
