This dissertation, based on historical facts as well as some oral and written comments, thoroughly illustrates the political and academic thoughts of Ma Dexin.

马德新(1794-1874),清朝后期享誉云南的回族大阿洪,完成朝觐功课的哈吉,同时也是一位赫赫有名的大学者。他开创了经堂教育云南一派;在咸同年间领导云南东南回民起义;后与政府议和,投身学术,著有数十部阿拉伯文、波斯文及汉文伊斯兰教著作,为中国伊斯兰教和回族的文化、教育亨业作出很大贡献。本篇论文以历史事实为基础,以流播于口头、记录于文字中的多种评析为参照,以人物历史活动为引线,以人物著作为基础,全面阐述马德新的政治思想和学术思想。

约从明末清初开始,由于战争、起义及逃避政治改革等诸多原因,云南回族穆斯林曾先后多次由开辟已久的西南丝路通道迁入缅甸、泰国北部等地,并进而形成两个定居境外的回族穆斯林派生族群———"潘塞人"和"秦和人"穆斯林。本文运用历史学、宗教人类学、文化学的理论与方法,通过对"潘塞人"、"秦和人"的迁徙历史、社会结构、人口分布等方面的综合考察,从一个侧面揭示了云南回族迁徙东南亚的历史脉络,为回族学跨境研究提供了新的重要参考。

“脚户”是旧时西北地区以驮队形式从事贩运的一个行当。在甘肃河州历史上 ,脚户在民族构成上主要以回族为主。他们往来于青藏高原与黄土高原之间 ,为两地经济、文化的发展做出了很大的贡献。本文依据田野调查的资料 ,对甘肃河州脚户的情况做了比较系统的论述 ,并将其与云南回族马帮进行了一些比较。
