This paper presents the properties and performance of type CT--878 ceta-ne number (CN) improver synergically developed by Shengli Refinery and Xi-an Institute of Modern Chemistry. For diesel fuels from Shengli crude, the CNcan be increased by 4--6 units with the addition of 0. 2 wt% CT--878 whilethe carbon residue and gum still meet the requirement of specification GB252, The performance of CT--878 varies with the composition of diesel fueland the increase in CN can be predicted with an empirical formula.

本文介绍了由胜利炼油厂和西安近代化学研究所开发的CT-878柴油十六烷值改进剂的物理性能和添加性能。对胜利柴油而言,添加0.2m%的CT-878可使柴油的十六烷值提高4—6个单位,而且柴油的残炭、胶质等指标可满足GB252的有关规定。CT-878的添加性能随柴油组成而异,可用经验公式预测十六烷值的改进值。
