Chemical Constituents and Its Bioactivities from Marine Algae C.basiretorsa, A.Spicifera and Bioactivities in Vivo of Ethanol Extract of R.confervoides
The effects of some organic solvents, including alcohol compounds, aldehyde compounds, acetone, dimethylsulfoxide and dioxane, on the potato PPO for the oxidation of L-DOPA were studied. The IC50 values and the inhibitory mechanisms were determined and compared.
A novel edge valence connectivity index(~mF) based on the adjacency matric and δ_i~V,which is a modifying edge valence for an edge concluding non-carbon atom,is proposed in this paper. We study the water solubility,S_w,and partition coefficients,K_(OW),and biological toxicity(activity),LC_(50),with m~F for some fatty alcohol compounds.
Hepatic glutathione, lipid peroxides, glutathione peroxidase, alcohol dehydrogenase, aldehyde dehydrogenase, glycogen and total protein in liver were also significantly altered.
Picroliv significantly reverted most of the above said altered blood and hepatic parameters in the alcohol-fed male and female rats to almost normal levels.
The components of insect toxins are very complicated, and hymenopteran venoms contain alkanes, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, organic acids, esters, lactones, proteins, polypeptides, enzymes, amines and other compounds.
The asymmetric transfer hydrogenations of prochiral acetophenone and 4-methyl-2-pentanone to corresponding chiral alcohols were carried out on Fe-CS/SBA-15 at atmosphere pressure using 2-propanol as hydrogen donor.
The water-soluble glucan was obtained from Pleurotus florida fruit bodies by hot water extraction, ethanol precipitation, DEAE cellulose dialysis and Sephadex G-75 gel filtration.
