Based on some information of field observation, the paper presents a preliminary investigation on steady non-uniform aerated flow in rectangular channel downstream of a high-head sluice gate. It points out that the usual practice is to design a narrow and short channel downstream of the gate and the flow is usually a decelerating one. Some flow characteristics such as the variation of mean air concentration along the flow, the gradient of air concentration along the depth and the side wall effect on air entrainment,...

Based on some information of field observation, the paper presents a preliminary investigation on steady non-uniform aerated flow in rectangular channel downstream of a high-head sluice gate. It points out that the usual practice is to design a narrow and short channel downstream of the gate and the flow is usually a decelerating one. Some flow characteristics such as the variation of mean air concentration along the flow, the gradient of air concentration along the depth and the side wall effect on air entrainment, are quite different from those encountered in wide and shallow channels. Hence the empirical formula for wide channels for computing the water surface profile cannot be used for narrow channels. The author, with due consideration pointed above, gives an analytical treatment of plotting surface profile for the latter case. With the introduction of a parameter"σ" characterizing the related flow phenomena a simple formula is recommended as logσ=1.77+0.0081(V~2/gR) where σ=the ratio of the difference between the water depths in an aerated flow and in the corresponding non-aerated flow of the absolute channel roughness, V=sectional mean velocity of non-aerated flow, g=gravitational acceleration, R=hydraulic radius of the cross-section of non-aerated flow. Charts and illustrative examples are also included for reference for designers.

本文对深孔闸后矩形槽恆定不均匀掺气水流进行了初步探讨。文中指出,在通常工程布置条件下,此种渠槽一般属于窄短渠槽,且水流沿程多呈減速流动,因而掺气水流运动的某些特性,如:水流的沿程平均掺气浓度变化规律、沿垂向的摻气浓度梯度、以及边墙对掺气量的影响等,均与宽浅渠槽中的掺气水流不同.文中针对上述特点,根据一些原型观测成果,提出了适用于此类布置的摻气水面线计算公式,并在原型中初步得到较好的验証.文末列有图表算例以供设计计算参考。

Ultra-high energy y-rays have been observed by emulsion chambers exposed at Yunnan Station (3200m, 700g/cm~2 atmospheric depth). The integral spectrum, the vertical intensity and the attenuation length in air of the gamma rays in the energy region 2 TeV to 30 TeV are presented. The results of gamma ray families with total observed energies ranging from 5 TeV to 70 TeV are discussed.

在云南站(海拔3200米,大气深度700克/[厘米]~2)利用乳胶室观测超高能γ线.给出了能量范围在2TeV~30TeV的γ线积分能谱、垂向强度和在空气中的衰减长度.对总观测能量在5TeV~70TeV的γ线族的结果进行了讨论.
