As the informational process of education and the reforms of basic education deepen gradually, the requirement for the teachers' professional quality is continually rising. The thought and idea of the rural teachers are obsolete, while the teaching methods are old-fashioned, which limit seriously the development of the rural education,so it is inevitable that improving the rural teachers' professionalism level. In the information-based society, teacher's professional quality includes advanced educational ideas, a perfect structure of professional knowledge and a fine ability in educational scientific research and information-based instruction. The article is based on a sampling survey of the rural teachers from 9 different provinces throughout the country. It analyses the professional quality status quo of the rural teachers in our country and studies the strategies about how to improve the rural teachers' professional quality in the informational circumstances.

教育信息化的推进和基础教育改革的不断深入,对教师专业素质的要求不断提高。农村教师的教育思想观念陈旧,教育科研能力欠缺,教学方法和手段落后,严重制约了农村教育的发展,提高农村教师的专业化水平势在必行。在信息化社会,教师的专业素质包括先进的教育理念、完善的专业知识结构、较强的教育科研能力和信息化教学能力。本文在对全国9个省的农村中小学教师进行抽样调查的基础上,分析我国农村教师专业素质的现状,研究在信息化环境中提高农村教师专业素质的策略。
