Each probe could detect out 62 5 bands on studied fishes,among which 58 5% was polymorphic,and average individual band was 7 813.The within population similarity index of O.aureus was 0 740 and variation coefficient was 0 260,evidently,the genetic purity of O.aureus population was very high and genetic polymorphism was low,however,there was certain variation in O.aureus. The band of 7 2 kb produced by probe 33 6 and 9 4 kb produced by 33 15 in DNA fingerprints were shared by each individual and showed coincident monomorphism and stronge hybridization,they reflected the population characteristic of that minisatellite locus of O.aureus. Therefore,they could be looked as specific molecular marker of O.aureus.
