The percentage of correct identification of 6 vowels (monophthongs) from the standard colloquial Chinese was studied in various syllable durations. When the syllable duration was kept longer than 60msec, correct identification of vowels remained on a high percentage (above 95%). When the syllabe duration became, from 60 msec on, shorter and shorter, the percentage of correct vowel identification gradually dicreased. As the syllable duration was made shorter than 8-13 msec, vowel identification became impossible....

Analysis of the identification errors showed that they happened more often among those vowels, whose articulation and acoustical properties were closer. In the discussion the role of signal duration in vowel identification and in pitch differentiation was compared.

But the present methods are failed in doing so, especially there is not a theoretically sound, accurate and quantitation method; what we have had are too artificial. This article had advanced a way to test the weathering rock mass through the application of variance analysis and dynamic variance analysis to the mechanicalmineral composition and acoustical properties of the weathering rock mass to quarantee a quantitation approach and an optimum evaluation of the problem.In demonstrating this method variations of calculation responding to different geological conditions are discussed. Besides, method to over come the interference of changing in rock properting with the testing of weathering rock mass has been put foreward.The example given in this paper shows the effectiveness of this method, and it is hoped that the gradation of engineering rock masses may get some hints from this method.

针对风化岩体仍无理想的定量分带方法这一研究现状与工程建筑需要的矛盾,提出了对能够检测工程环境岩体风化程度的各种物理力学、矿物学和声学指标进行方差分析和特殊的“动态方差分析”方法,可对岩体风化带的划分进行定量评价,达到某一试验结果下的最佳分带效果。还结合应用实例讨论了不同地质条件下分带计算过程的相应变化和应用效果。最后指出,工程岩体分类亦可借鉴本文的研究方法。

The one-dimensional theory of sound propagation in ducts is generalized and investigated in the paper. It can be assumed that any duct system consists of two kinds of elementary structures: One is the piped structure in which the characteristics, such as the acoustical parameter on the interior surface of the wall, the cross-section area of the duct and the aerodynamic parameters of the flow, etc., will vary continuously and slowly with distance along the axis of duct. The other is the local structure with discontinuity...

It can be assumed that any duct system consists of two kinds of elementary structures: One is the piped structure in which the characteristics, such as the acoustical parameter on the interior surface of the wall, the cross-section area of the duct and the aerodynamic parameters of the flow, etc., will vary continuously and slowly with distance along the axis of duct. The other is the local structure with discontinuity in which the characteristics will change abruptly. The acoustical properties of both structures are analysed in general cases based upon the fundamental equations of aerodynamics, and their transmission matrixes are derived and discussed respectively. Two typical examples are analysed and discussed.

本文对管道系统中声传播的一维理论作了推广。把管道系统看成由两种类型结构组成:一种是连续的管道结构,其中壁面声学参数、截面几何参数以及气体动力参数等可以沿管道随距离缓慢变化;另一种是突变的局部结构,在结构两侧的各种参数可以有不连续的跃变。文中从流体力学基本方程出发,在较普遍的情况下,对这两种类型结构作了分析研究,分别导出了反映其声传播特性的传递矩阵并作了讨论。
