The activation of agavain-SH by agave pollen was detected by using DHT-casein method. Both the filtrate and the dialyzate of agave pollen can activate the enzyme, thus proving that there was activating substance of the thiol group in agave pollen. The order of adsorption capacity was found as follows: Hg2+≈Ag+》Cu2+ >Zn2+≈Cd2+.when the resins were treated with a solution of mixture of Hg2+, Cu2+, Zn2+,Cd2+, K+ and Na+, only Hg2+ was adsorbed.In general,the more content of N% and S% in the resin, the higher adsorption capacity it has.Then,the PE4P has the highest adsorption capacity (mmol/g resins) :Ag+(5.26) , Hg2+ (4.91) , Cu2+ (1.48) 2+ (0.93) and Cd2+ (1.02). The adsorption on PE4p (5.26) for Ag+ is much higher than that on polyethylene polyamine resin PE4 (1.51) .

Experimental demonstrations and theoretical analysis of voltammogram giye the following mechanism: Reduction wave: (?) The ion radical signals resulting from DTNB electrolytic reduction process have been detected by means of electrolytic technique and ESR measurement.It is identified that an identical radical has been produced at the potentials of-0.5 volt, -0.9 volt and -0.5 volt. The g value of the radical equals 2.0057.The total breadth of ESR soectrum line equals 36.4700 Gausses.The radical decays according to the second order law. The constants of the radical decay equal to 1.06×10~(-18)ml(min.spin)~(-1) in anhydrous solution and 2.01×10~(-17) ml(min.spin)~(-1) in alcohol (90%)-water(10%)solution.

应用电解还原,紫外和红外光谱及循环伏安等方法,研究了DTNB在水溶液中和汞电极上的电化学行为。借助于电解还原和ESR技术,首次检测到在DTNB电解还原中产生的自由基讯号。研究了该自由基的性质和动力学衰变规律。
