The results indicates that the edge waviness of base sheet influences the quality of coating. And the base sheet with different surface roughness has certain irregular effect on the mechanical property of coating. The grain size of phosphate film becomes larger and more uniform with the increase in surface roughness, this is beneficial to increasing the adhesion between base sheet and coating and improves the quality of organic coated sheet.
