In this paper a discussion on the adoption of the seismic coefficients and on safety evaluation in aseismatic design of gravity dams on rock foundations is presented.The discussion is based on further investigations the seismic response of the Xinfengjiang Dam, the Koyna Dam and some other gravity dams selected.In aseismatic design of gravity dams, usually based on static method or so-called pseudo-static method using conventional seismic coefficients and static parameters for calculating the shearing strength, a basic evaluation of the overall stability against sliding of the dam subjected to earthquake, though far from being satisfactory, can usually be obtained. Stress calculation based on such methods, however, is often misleading. Therefore, it is advisable to take a different approach.Applicating the method of dynamic analysis and adopting a design seismic coefficient for the expected ground motion of the dam foundation to estimate the earthquake loadings and stresses, combining them with those produced by normal loads and comparing them with the paremeters for static strength, one may then arrive at a reasonable safety evaluation of a dam.This paper deals mainly with the problem of stability against sliding.The authors present the concept of relative seismic stability, which shall be helpful to indicate the rule of stability against sliding of dams subjected to earthquake and, consequently, to make sure the safety of the dam.In the investigation the dynamic coupling action between the dam and the reservoir water was taken into consideration,the dam and the reservoir water being treated as an assemble of finite elements.The analysis was carried by both the methods of response spectrum and time-history. And the combined effects of dynamic and static loadings were introduced.

本文在通过对新丰江和柯依那(Koyna)大坝的震害情况进一步分析,和选择了其它一些重力坝进行研究后,提出了岩基上重力坝抗震设计地震系数的采用及安全性估算的意见. 在重力坝的抗震设计中,按照静力法或拟静力法和经验的地震系数、抗剪强度的静力指标检验大坝的抗滑稳定性,是可以得到基本估计的,但还存在某些问题;尤其是,在进行坝体强度校核时,往往会使人产生误解.因此,作者认为有必要采用动力分析法和预计的设计坝基地震系数,以估算地震荷载和应力,并与正常荷载的情况组合,取强度的静力指标作出比较,才能得到近乎合理的安全估算. 文中着重研究了大坝滑动稳定性问题,提出了抗震的稳定相对安全率的概念,它有助于揭示地震时大坝抗滑稳定的变化规律,并作出安全的估算. 在分析时,将坝体和库水作为有限单元的集合体,考虑了坝体与库水在振动时耦合作用,按反应谱法和时程法进行动力分析,得出了动力和静力的综合成果.

A series of study on toxicity was conducted of natural pigment extracted from cocoa bean shells. On the basis of the negative results obtained in the experiments, we made the safety evaluation of its pigment. The results showed that in the high dose groups, the average intake of the pigment ranged from 1.129mg/kg bw to 1.378mg/kg bw per day, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05) between the parameters of the experimental groups and the control. An amount of about 0.5~0.8 gm of brown pigment is usually added into per kg of food in food processing. If a child weighing 25 kg takes 250 gm of food of this kind per day. 5~8mg/kg bw of brown pigment will be absorbed. Although in the high dose groups. rats of both sexes absorbed this kind of pigment 140 times more than man did, no toxic effects were observed. The results of all toxicity tests of the pigment demonstrated neither acute nor chronic toxicity. We consider, therefore, the brown pigment to be safe. as a food additive, and an economic and promising edible natural pigment in food processing.

对可可豆壳中提炼出的天然色素进行了一系列毒性研究。在所有实验取得阴性结果的基础上,对该色素进行了安全评价。结果表明,最高剂量组大鼠平均每天摄入的色素量为1.129 mg/kg bw至1.378 mg/kg bw,各项观察指标与对照组无显著差别(P>0.05)。棕色素一般每公斤食品添加0.5~0.8 g,如果一个体重25公斤的儿童每天吃250g这种食品,则将摄入5~8 mg/kg bw棕色素。现最高剂量组两性大鼠摄入的色素超过人体摄入量的140倍以上,未发现毒作用。根据色素的全部毒性试验结果,未出现急、慢性毒性。我们认为,该棕色素作为食品添加剂是安全的,在食品加工中是一种比较经济和有发展前途的食用天然色素。

A model of safety evaluation for selecting the pesticide used in the tea garden wassuggested by the author according to the experimental results of the degradative dynamicsof more than 20 pesticides on the tea bush.Among the main factors influencing thedegradation of pesticides and the safety of human from the pesticide was applied onthe tea bush to the pesticide residue entered the human body with the tea infusion,5 physical,chemical and biological parameters of pesticides were selected as thesafety indexes by the author in the purpose of selecting the pesticide suitable in the teagarden.It also would be useful in the structural design of synthesizing the pesticidepurposefully.It comprises the following 5 selective parameters and each of which issub-divided into 4 classes.(1)Half-life(HL_(50))on fresh tea leaves:1st class<0.6days;2nd class 0.61-1.5 days;3rd(?)class 1.51-3.0 days;4th class>3.0 days.(2)Vapour pressure of pesticide(mm Hg,20-25℃):1st class>1×10~(-5);2nd class1×10~(-5)—1x10~(-6);3rd class 1x10~(-6)—1x10~(-7);4th class<1×10~(-7).(3)Watersolubility of pesticide(ppm,20-25℃):1st class<1;2nd class 1-100;3rd class101-200;4th class>200.(4)ADI value(Acceptable Daily Intake)of pesticide(mg/kg.day):1st class>0.01;2nd class 0.005-0.01;3rd class 0.001-0.0049;4th class<0.001.(5)Oral LD_(50)of acute toxicity in rats(mg/kg):1st class>500;2nd class 101-500;3rd class 31-100;4th class<30.The evaluation ofthe safety of pesticides is based upon the cumulative value of the above 5 parameters.It is showed that the lower the cumulative values,the safer the pesticide.If thecumulative value of a pesticide is over 12,it can not be used in the tea garden.

根据20余种化学农药在茶树上降解动态的研究结果,提出了茶园用药安全性指标设计的概念。从农药被喷施在茶树上到随茶汤进入人体整个过程,在影响人体安全的因素中,作者选用了农药的5个物理、化学和生物学参数作为选择农药在茶园中适用性的安全性指标,也可供有针对性地合成农药结构设计时参考。上述5项指标中有4项属农药常用参数。这5项指标是:①在茶树鲜叶上的半衰期;③蒸气压;⑧水中溶解度;④允许每日摄入量(ADI);⑤大白鼠口服急性 LD_(50)。每项指标分为4级,其累计值即为该农药的安全性评价值。累计值低于或等于10属适用品种,11—12属中适品种,大于12不适于茶园应用。作者对40余种农药采用上述方法选择的结果与田间研究划分的结果完全一致。
