    The specimen-slipped ballistic null method for measuring the coercivity of iron and steel materials with cylindrical specimens has been experimentally studied. The specimen only with length longer than 100mm, length/diameter ratio more than 10 and coercivity less than 102A/m can be measured,if a solenoid capable to produce a maximum field 30kA/m is used as the magnetizing apparatus. But if an electromagnet and a solenoid is used to supply positive and reverse fields, then various specimens with coercivities...

    The specimen-slipped ballistic null method for measuring the coercivity of iron and steel materials with cylindrical specimens has been experimentally studied. As to the condition of this work, in which a magnet with pole heads in the form of frustum of a cone was used to obtain a precise saturation coercivity Hc, the length of specimen should be shorter than 44mm. The results of measurement with different specimen length showed that the synthetical accidental error of Hc determined by the latter method is less than 8A/m.

    In this paper, the abrasion performance of several cast materials for track shoes of a tractor are compared. The candidate materials together with the high manganese steel Mnl3 were tested in laboratory and actual tractors.It was shown that the cast steel material 3lMn2Si with higher carbon con-tent(about 0.35%)and lower sulphur content(about0. 02%)has a good wear resis-tance, but it is unfavourable to the wear resistance when increasing quenching and tempering temperature. In addition to abrasion and identation by abrasive particles, the surfaces were corroded when used in wet fields and this corrosion apparently speeds up the wear rate.

    本文在试验基础上比较了几种拖拉机铸造履带板材料的磨料磨损特性,对几种拖拉机履带板材料进行实验室和田间磨损试验的结果表明:含碳量较高(约0.35%)及含硫量较低(约0.02%)的31Mn2Si铸钢的耐磨性较好,增加淬火及回火温度对耐磨性不利。Mn7也是一种合适的履带板材料且特别适用于在水田中工作。这两种材料都可考虑作为常用的高锰钢履带板的代用材料。 田间试验表明:拖拉机工作的土壤类型和条件不同,履带板会在不同部位“优先磨损”。微观分析指出:履带板表面的磨损是多种类型磨损机理的综合结果。在水田中使用的履带板磨损表面除了经受磨料颗粒压入并磨损以外还要经受腐蚀的作用。这种腐蚀明显地加速了磨损过程。
