The importance and methods of setting up soil and water conservation data base are illustrated. "dBASE-Ⅱ Applying System" designed by author for soil and water conservation data base is introduced. The result proved that "dBASE-Ⅱ Applying Siystem" can do various statistics and retrieval in time for soil and water conservation planning, it can quickly carry out torrent classification with investigated datums, and it may be joined with other applying programs.
