This paper presents a method of synthesis of resistive (n+1) node networks. Th method is chiefly based on a theorem derived in this paper for calculating the branch conductances of the network to be realized. This paper presents a method of synthesis of resistive (n+1) node networks. According to this theorem, after the tree of ports being determined from the sign matrix of the given conductance matrix, all the branch conductances of the required (n+1) node network can be obtained directly from the corresponding elements of the given conductance matrix, and thus the synthesis procedure is simplified. Moreover this method allows the test for readability to be combined with the synthesis procedure.
