The behaviour of surface cracks in the thread groove of bolts, Subjected to axial tension-tension loading directly applied by the nut,were experimented and estimated. Firstly the equations for stress intensity factor are developed by means of analogy for surface cracks in the thread ground of bolts under such condition. Experiments are conducted to study the fracture features and growth behavior of surface cracks in the 30 CrmnsiA bolts loaded by tension. The stress intensity factors are compared between the analytical solution and experimental results. A good agreement is achieved between the experimental result and analytical solution evaluated by using the stress intensity fac-tors'equation derived by the author.

本文在实验的基础上,对螺栓螺纹根部处的表面裂纹在拉一拉载荷作用下应力强度因子K进行了初步研究,通过对已有圆柱体的表面裂纹应力强度因子公式的分析、比较,采用类比的方法,推出了受拉螺栓表面裂纹应力强度因子K的表达式,并借助于实验加以验证。
