本文阐述的单位改正数平差法是适用于短程光电测距仪测定的测边四边形。它是四边形的形状函数。根据最小二乘原理来推导座标改正数,在推导时假定四边形的闭合差δ等于1来求出座标改正数的单位值,即本文所称的“单位改正数 Z”,可预先按单位座标值计算这些数值,然后将之乘以δ即得平差座标改正数,据此计算平差后的座标,其结果与严密的最小二乘解算的结果极相近似。单位改正数平差法,计算程序明了简单,在外业观测时,即使无可编程序计算机,可用一袖珍计算器,借助于诺谟图就能很快地进行平差计算,且其结果能达到所需的计算精度。所以这种方法是一种快速平差测边四边形的简单而有效的方法。本文附有数例说明,并将其平差结果与严密的最小二乘解算的结果进行比较。
