The possibility of gene transfer between cultivated barley and wildHordeurn species was discussed.

Second, it is screened apomictic materials from cultivated rice, wild rice and their distant related species, espicially Poa and Pennisetum etc. with the apomictic character. Third, it is introduced apomictic gene into rice by conventional cross, combination of conventional cross and tissue culture method, and gene transfer technique.

The inheritance of Japonica resistant sources carrying the same resistant genes transferred from Indica was also studied to compare their genetic mode with that of the Indica sources. Some F_1 hybrids were backcrossed with susceptible parents to further test the results. The bulk seedling test was used to evaluate the hybrid progenies for brown planthopper resistance. Their resistant reactions were recorded when the seedlings of the susceptible check were killed.

籼稻褐稻虱抗源与不同籼、粳稻杂交,后代的抗性反应明显不同。ASD7携带的bph2及Baba-wee携带的bph4两个隐性基因,在与南京11杂交时呈显性表达,杂种F_2代分离为3R:1S。籼稻抗源与粳稻杂交,抗虱性普遍增强,杂种后代呈双基因分离,这种增强作用在与广亲和或有籼稻血缘粳稻杂交时表现明显。转育的粳稻抗源与盐粳2号、南京11、02428杂交,杂种后代的遗传方式与原籼稻同基因抗源基本一致,说明籼稻抗褐稻虱基因导入粳稻后的基因表达具有稳定性,可以在后代中遗传。
