Field test results showed that when 80% ametryn with 1,950-3,000g/hm~2was spayed on weed at(2-5) leaves stage in sugarcane field could have a good control on gramineae and broadleaf weed,and the integrated effect was over 95% for 30 days after spaying,it could effectively control the damage of all kinds of weed in sugarcane field.
The study also showed that the relative biological effect of the cultivation of shii-take in sugarcane field by synthetic technique was 131.97% which was higher than that by single technique or uncomplete technique.
The dynamics of water content in three soil layers (0～20cm, 20～40cm and 40～60cm) were determined at three geographic locations (mesoslope, downgrade, valley) of new-cultivated sugarcane field and uncultivated hillside land at one day before rain, 4 hours, 2, 4, 6 and 8 days after rain during rainy season and dry season in 1998 at environmental immigrants settlement area of northwest Guangxi.

175 soil samples were collected in a sugarcane field(approximately 24 km~2) in the hill region of subtropical China. The soil available Si were measured. The statistical results indicated that the mean value at a low level of 117.7 mg/kg,and the coefficient of variation belonged to the medium level.

Temporal and spatial changes of soil organic matter(SOM) content in the sugarcane field after 19-year interval(from 1980 to 1999) were evaluated using geostatistics and geographic information system(GIS).

Through the nutrient general survey of sugarcane field in Leizhou Peninsula and utilizing the statistical analysis method of mathematics, the relevant relation is concluded among nutrients, between the nutrient and economic properties.
The following results are indicated:1. There were 95 species of weeds occurred in sugarcane field of Yunnan Province, among of them, 20 species is the dominant species, which formed 5 kind of weed communities damaging sugarcane.
