    A major slide failure took place in the upstream gravelly sand shell of the Beihe earth dam during the Tangshan earthquake on July 28, 1976. The dam has a sloping core and the failed shell is only about 5m thick. In this paper two-dimensional effective stress seismic analysis is used to clarify the main features of this failure. The analytical procedure and stress-strain model used for this analysis are presented in detail. Comprhensive information about the static and dynamic performance of dams, including the distribution of static stresses before and after earthquake, its dyanmic response in stress and strain, the generation and dissipation of pore pressure and also the development of permanent deformation, may be deduced from this analysis. Based on the knowledge of pore pressure distribution at various stages of earthquke, the slope stability analysis using effective stress concept may be carried out. From aforementioned analysis it is concluded that the main cause of sliding of this saturated gravelly sand shell is the reduction of effective stress and hence the loss of its stability safety in connecting with the accumulation of pore pressure under earthquake shaking.

    本文采用二维有效应力动力分析方法分析了1976年7月28日唐山地震时密云水库白河主坝斜墙砂砾石保护层滑落的原因。文中对于计算模式和计算方法也作了较系统的阐述。用等参数静力有限单元法计算了白河主坝的非线性静应力,用等参数动力有限单元法计算了非线性动应力、反应加速度、振动孔隙水压力的产生、扩散和消散过程及其不同时刻的分布规律、地震引起的沉降(残余垂直位移)及其与时间的关系。最后,结合算出的孔隙水压力对保护层作了一般的稳定分析。分析结果指明,白河主坝砂砾石保护层滑落的原因是:在地震剪应力作用下保护层内积累了大量的残余孔隙水压力,导致保护层与斜墙接触面的有效应力减小,抗剪强度大量降低之故。

By means of solving the natural vibration equation and the theory of the response spectrum, the combined stresses of members due to the earthquake responses of several higher modes are obtained.     内框架房屋的脉动振型、强拉变形曲线以及震害规律,进一步证实楼盖的有限刚度和高阶空间振型对震害程度和破坏部位的显著影响。以往采用的“单竖杆多质点系”计算简图未能反映这些特点。 本文提出考虑楼盖水平变形的空间结构模型,建立“多竖杆多质点系”的自振方程,应用反应谱理论求解多阶空间振型的地震反应,给出考虑楼盖空间作用及砖墙弹性和非弹性变形阶段的构件地震内力。通过实例分析说明,计算结果与实测自振特性和震害规律都有着较好的一致性。

    This paper reviews some prevalent methods which prescribe incident rock-motion in seismic response analysis of layered soils, and we think it might be a good method to use average acceleration response spectrum in rock as characteristics of input movement for layered soils. For this reason, base on the related statistical data home and abroad, a group of typical acceleration response spectra of rock motions in accordance with different intensities (7°, 8°, 9°) and epicentral distances have then been given. Finally, this paper suggests that the Kaul's method for relating response spectrum to power spectrum can be used for producing artificial accelerograph of input movement for seismic analysis of layered soils

    文中对层状土地震反应分析时输入波的考虑方法作了评述,认为用平均加速度反应谱来反映基岩输入运动是一种值得推荐的方法。为此利用近年来国内外的一些统计结果,给出基本烈度为7°,8°,9°时考虑震级、震中距影响的基岩运动谱特征。同时建议用考尔人工地震波法产生层状土地震反应分析时的输入波。
