In this paper, with the vibration parameter identification technique, a study is made on diagrosing engineering structure damage, including the diagnosis of damage position and the quantitative calculation of damage degree. Owing to the unstability of the solution a method is used to make the solution very steady. Then applied to the free beam as an example,the method is verified.

To describe the behavior of fatigue crack growth in materials, a P K m da/dN ΔK surface is proposed, and formulas for estimating the parameters in it based on testing data are presented. The surface can be used for the prediction of crack growth life under a random loading spectrum and for structure damage estimation. An application example is given.

利用神经网络技术对结构损伤定位进行了研究.用有限元模态分析技术对悬臂梁有、无损伤的情况分别进行了模拟,得到一系列频率变化数据,将这些数据与损伤位置关系作为δ规则下的EBP网络学习样本,网络训练好后,取不同损伤位置的频率变化数据输入网络计算,推断损伤位置.发现推断损伤位置与实际损伤位置非常接近,从而证明了损伤前后的频率变化与损伤位置存在比较确定的映射关系,也说明了EBP网络具有很强的自组织、自适应和自学习功能,说明了神经网络技术与解析模态分析技术相结合,用于结构损伤定位研究具有良好的前景
