    In this work we have discussed the fundamental equations of eight radiation charts. The interrelations of transmission function with pressure and temperature were discussed. We not only investigated the problems of heat radiation which are affected by carbon dioxide and water vapour in spectral overlapping region, but also analysed the errors of carbon dioxide radiation of some charts.     In this work we have discussed the fundamental equations of eight radiation charts. The interrelations of transmission function with pressure and temperature were discussed. We not only investigated the problems of heat radiation which are affected by carbon dioxide and water vapour in spectral overlapping region, but also analysed the errors of carbon dioxide radiation of some charts. Finally, the comparison of various radiation charts for atmospheric emissivity has been made.According to this study, it is possible to find out the reason for the differences in the calculation results with these charts and to estimate, to a certain extent, the advantages and drawbacks of these charts.

In this paper, there are the following calculations: the temperatures at each part of the assembly; the heat radiation and conduction between different parts; the total power dissipation of the assembly and the influences of changing physical or geometrical parameters of the parts of the assembly on the total power dissipation. This paper is helpfull to design a new cathode assembly.The design and experiment of the new cathode (Ba-Ni) assembly with small power dissipation is successful. The advantages of the new assembly is firm construction, easy assembling and quick heating (arriving at the operation temperature in a few seconds).

    A Maoh-Zehnder interferometer using single-mode fibers has been built, and its temperature and heat radiation sensitivity has been investigated. The results are that the temperature responsivity and the heat radiations responsivity are about 110 rad/m℃ and 3.7 × 10-5 rad/m erg respectively. In heat radiation measurement, the absorbed heat radiation energy in the optical fiber is estimated to be 5-8% of the total energy passing the receiving area.
