This paper introduces the principle and the way to strengthen cutting tools by means of electric spark, studies the relationship between the thickness of strengthened layer, the amount of capacity, and times of strengthening. The test tried out on the surface of tool-steel tools as well as on cutting and wearing problems, shows that the more it is strengthened, the better the surface is able to put up with any amount of wear and corrosion, and that the strengthened layer is so closely joined to the body that...

This paper introduces the principle and the way to strengthen cutting tools by means of electric spark, studies the relationship between the thickness of strengthened layer, the amount of capacity, and times of strengthening. The test tried out on the surface of tool-steel tools as well as on cutting and wearing problems, shows that the more it is strengthened, the better the surface is able to put up with any amount of wear and corrosion, and that the strengthened layer is so closely joined to the body that they don't separate easily. This method, convenient for use, needs only simple instruments, uses less electrode materials, but benifits us a lot economically. And, furthermore, it helps to survive the moulding and measuring tools as well as the wear-quick parts. Anyway there are still some problems to be solved, that is, low productivity, rough surface etc.

本文介绍了电火花强化刀具的方法,研究了强化层厚度与电容量以及强化次数的关系。通过对工具钢刀具表面强化和切削磨损试验,表明:强化层硬度高,耐磨性、耐蚀性较好;强化层与基体结合强度高,不会剥落;而且工艺设备简单,使用方便,电极材料耗费少,经济效益高。另外,该项工艺还可用于提高模具、量具以及易损零件的寿命。但该项工艺存在生产率低,表面较粗糙等问题。

This paper puts forward a method of calculating positional error by measuring the error in distance between measured element and reference element, deduces calculation formula of positional error, nod thus solves ths difficult problem of measuring the error of relative position by conventional measuring-tools.

本文提出了一种通过测量被测要索与基准要素之间的距离误差来计算位置度误差值的方法,且导出了位置度误差值的计算公式,从而解决了用常规量具测量位置度值这一难题,具有实用推广价值。

Overthick at root and undercutting in grinding of gear shaving tool are resulted from that the distance between grinding surface of wheel and axis of gear shaving tool is over or less its theoritical value.A special measuring tool can be used to control the value at required range and the tool can be ground to desired shape in one time.So that the tool sharpening times are reduced and the service life will be improved.
