With a "cardiac force loop" method for simultaneously displaying the strength (P) and rate (dp/dt) of force development during cardiac contraction-relaxation cycle as well as the pressure/flow ratio in the ascending aorta for displaying the resistance of heart...

In 8 anaesthetized male adult dogs the left cardiac ventricular pressure (LVP), the rate of change of pressure with respect to time (dp/dt), the blood flow in the ascending aorta and in the left circumflex coronary artery were recorded. With a "cardiac force loop" method for simultaneously displaying the strength (P) and rate (dp/dt) of force development during cardiac contraction-relaxation cycle as well as the pressure/flow ratio in the ascending aorta for displaying the resistance of heart pump, the effects of "San-qi" (Pcmox notoginseng [Burk] FH Chen) on these aspects of cardiac function as a pump were put under quantitative analysis.Five minutes after intravenous injection of "San-qi" (30-50 mg/kg) there were a reduction of the loop by 61.83^ (P<0.01), a decrease of the resistance of heart pump by 1-4PRU (peripheral resistance unit), a decrease of the heart rate by 10% (P<0.05) and an increase of the ventricular ejection time by 24%, as compared with the initial value. Within 30 minutes after injection there were an increase of the coronary blood flow by 47.96% and a decrease of the aortio diastolic pressure.Our results indicate that "San-qi" reduces the contractility of cardiac muscle but relaxes the coronary and systemic arterioles markedly so as to increase the efficiency of the heart pump.

川芎嗪(80mg/kg体重)及酚苄明(0.25mg/kg体重)扩张肺血管,增加心输出量,抑制缺氧性肺血管收缩,而且对体循环的影响较小;汉防已甲素(1.85mg/kg体重)减慢心率,降低体肺循环压力及阻力,也能减弱缺氧性肺血管收缩;酚妥拉明虽然迅速降低体肺循环的压力和阻力,但不能减弱缺氧性肺血管收缩。这提示川芎嗪及酚苄明对缓解肺动脉高压,改善心功能可能疗效较好。

The effects of Tremella fuciformis Berk on cardiac function of toad were studied. The results showed polysaccharide of Trernella fuciformis Berk enhanced cardiac contractility of isolated normal or exhausted heart and increased minute volume of exhaustion. These results manifest the positive inotropic effect. The mechanism of cardiac contractility due to the effect of Tremella fuciformis Berk is revealed and discussed.

本文报告银耳孢子多糖的强心作用。银耳多糖对离体正常心脏或表竭心脏均可引起心肌收缩力增强、心输出量增加,显示阳性变力性作用。并对其作用原理进行了初步探讨。
