The photosensitive field effect transistor is made of a n-channel junction field effect transistor. It has not only the merits of the silicon photo-cell, but also the high input impedance and low noise field effect transisitor as compared to the other photo elements. Its main advantages are high senitivity and relatively quick response in the spectral range from UV to near IR, wide linear dynamic range, useful at 10~(-3)~10~4 lux, low output impedance, direct use in determining absorbance without log amplifier, small size, simple circuit and low manufacturing cost. With this new element, a single wave length dual beam UV detector has been assembled, and is used in a labortory-made high speed liquid chromatograph. The results from the application of the UV detector for the separation of three sets of mixtures composed of aromatic hydrocarbons, nucleosides and nucleotides, as wellas benzene and its derivatives respectively, show clearly that the sensitivity and design of the flowing cell of this detector can satisfy the requirements of the high speed liguid chromatograph.

In the paper the correlative principle of measuring speed is explained and the block diagram is given. For another equipment which measures the average difference of time without correlation, the block diagram and circuit diagram are given in detail. The measured results and thc analysis of errors are also given.

This paper briefly introduces the flying spot scanner of the "789" model of Optical Character Recognition system developed in Futan University. A method of matrix scanning with a high resolution flying spot tube is adopted in the scanner. It has the advantages of high speed and flexible control. There are also equipments of aperture correction, astigmatism correction, concentric correction, dynamic focusing, automatic brightness adjustment and so on in the scanner; so that it can scan a rather large area with high resolution, great precision, good signal/noise ratio and good stability. The system of video signal quantization includes an automatic threshold-adaptive circuit which can be adapted to the scanned documents of poor printing quality and varible darkness of characters. The signal reception system con- tains two channels: the red and black channels. Using the colour selection circuit with the combination of "S curve transformation" and "time logical circuit", it can distinguish between red and black characters. With the documents attaching to the transporting belt by pumping out the air and step-by-step document transporting me- chanism, the documents of convolution type can be effectively transported. In conclu- sion, this scanner system is a opto-electronic converter with flexible control, wide range of adaptation, high resolution, great precision and high scanning speed.

本文简单介绍复旦大学“789”光学文字识别系统使用的飞点扫描器。该扫描器采用高分辨率飞点管作阶梯波点阵扫描,具有速度快、控制灵活的优点;系统中设有飞点管孔栏校正、象散校正、同轴校正、动态聚焦、亮度自动调节等装置,能在较大的扫描区域内达到高分辨率、高精度以及良好的信噪比与稳定性;视象信号量化系统采用阈值自动控制电路,能适应各种印刷质量较差、字符深浅不同的扫描文件;信号接收系统设有红黑两个通道,采用“S 曲线变换法”与“时间逻辑电路”相结合的颜色分选电路,能区分红黑两种不同颜色的字符;采用抽气吸纸及步进输纸机构,能有效地传送折迭式文件。综上所述,该扫描器是一种控制灵活、适应性广,分辨率、精度和速度都很高的光电转换装置。
